The NFC (National Football Conference) is one of the two conferences in the National Football League (NFL), the other being the AFC (American Football Conference). The NFC is made up of 16 teams, divided into four divisions: the East, North, South, and West.

The NFC is home to some of the most storied franchises in NFL history, including the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, and New York Giants. The conference has produced numerous Super Bowl champions, including the aforementioned teams as well as the Chicago Bears, Washington Football Team, and Seattle Seahawks.

Each team in the NFC plays a 16-game regular season schedule, with the top six teams advancing to the playoffs. The winner of the NFC Championship game advances to the Super Bowl to face the AFC champion.
