The Augusta State Jaguars are a men's basketball team representing Augusta State University in Augusta, Georgia. The team competes in the Peach Belt Conference of the NCAA Division II. The Jaguars have a rich history of success, having won two NCAA Division II National Championships in 2008 and 2010. The team is known for its fast-paced, high-scoring offense and aggressive defense. The Jaguars have produced several notable players, including Ben Madgen, who went on to play professionally in Australia, and Garret Siler, who played in the NBA for the Phoenix Suns and the Chicago Bulls.
