Arka Gdynia is a Polish professional women's basketball club based in Gdynia. With 13 Polish Championships and 10 Polish Cups won (as of 2022), it is one of the country's most accomplished women's basketball clubs. It plays in the Energa Basket Liga Kobiet, the highest division in Poland.

History

It was founded in 1946 in the city of Gdańsk as Spójnia Gdańsk. In 1992 the club moved from Gdańsk to Gdynia and changed the name to Bałtyk Gdynia. Then it changed its name several times. From 2001 till 2010 the name of the club was Lotos Gdynia after its titular sponsor Grupa Lotos S.A. From 2014 until 2018 the name was Basket 90 Gdynia. Since 2018, the club has been called Arka Gdynia.

Gdynia Women is a professional basketball team based in Gdynia, Poland. The team was founded in 1929 and has a rich history of success in both domestic and international competitions. The team is known for its strong defense and fast-paced offense, which has led to numerous victories over the years. The team's home court is the Gdynia Sports Arena, which has a seating capacity of over 5,000 spectators. The team's colors are blue and white, and its logo features a stylized basketball with the team's name written in bold letters. Gdynia Women has a dedicated fan base and is widely regarded as one of the top women's basketball teams in Europe.
