Wake Forest is a men's basketball team representing Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. The team competes in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) and has a rich history of success in college basketball. The team has made 23 NCAA tournament appearances, including a Final Four appearance in 1962. The team has also won four ACC championships and has produced numerous NBA players, including Tim Duncan, Chris Paul, and Josh Howard. The current head coach of the team is Steve Forbes, who took over in 2020. The team plays its home games at the Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum, which has a seating capacity of 14,665. Wake Forest basketball is known for its fast-paced, high-scoring style of play and its passionate fan base.
