Keflavik

The Keflavík men's basketball team, commonly known as Keflavík, is the men's professional basketball department of Keflavík ÍF (Keflavík, íþrótta- og ungmennafélag), based in the town of Reykjanesbær in Iceland. They currently play in Úrvalsdeild karla.

Keflavik is a professional basketball team based in Keflavik, Iceland. The team was founded in 1964 and has since become one of the most successful basketball teams in Iceland. Keflavik competes in the top-tier Icelandic basketball league, the Úrvalsdeild karla, and has won the league championship six times, most recently in 2017.

The team's home court is the Keflavik Sports Hall, which has a seating capacity of 1,200 spectators. Keflavik's colors are blue and white, and the team's logo features a Viking helmet with a basketball in the center.

Keflavik has a reputation for playing fast-paced, high-scoring basketball, and is known for its strong offense and aggressive defense. The team has a number of talented players, including American guard Tre Coggins, who was named the league's Most Valuable Player in 2019.
