The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D (English: Brazilian Championship Serie D) is the fourth division of the Brazilian football league system, and was announced by the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) on 9 April 2008. The Campeonato Brasileiro Série D was formed from the split of the Série C, keeping its best 20 clubs and playing double round robin as does the top three divisions. The Série D keeps the same format of the older Série C, but with participation limited to 40 clubs recognized by the state federation. In 2016 the Série D was expanded to 68 clubs, but in 2022 it was reduced to 64 clubs.

The Série D format is a mixed system: the 64 clubs are divided in 8 groups organized regionally, playing in a round-robin format. The top teams qualify for playoffs and clubs that reach the semi-finals are promoted to Série C. Clubs qualify for the Série D by their performance at state championships — spots are given to the top clubs on those leagues that aren't at Série A, B or C — at state cups or relegation from Série C.

The Brazil Serie D is a highly anticipated soccer tournament held annually in Brazil. It is the fourth division of the Brazilian soccer league system and features teams from all regions of the country.

The tournament showcases the immense talent and passion for soccer in Brazil, with teams competing fiercely for the chance to be crowned champions. The Brazil Serie D provides a platform for smaller, lesser-known clubs to showcase their skills and potentially earn promotion to higher divisions.

The tournament format consists of several stages, including a group stage, knockout rounds, and a final. Teams are divided into groups based on their geographical location, ensuring a fair representation from all regions of Brazil. The group stage is followed by knockout rounds, where teams battle it out in intense matches to secure their spot in the final.

The Brazil Serie D is known for its fast-paced and exciting matches, with players displaying their technical abilities, tactical prowess, and sheer determination on the field. The tournament attracts a large and passionate fan base, with supporters from all over the country rallying behind their respective teams.

The Brazil Serie D not only provides thrilling soccer action but also serves as a platform for young talents to shine and catch the attention of scouts from higher divisions. Many players who have excelled in the tournament have gone on to have successful careers in Brazilian and international soccer.

Overall, the Brazil Serie D is a prestigious tournament that celebrates the rich soccer culture in Brazil.
